Comprehensive Health Planner II (505009), Augusta: The Office of MaineCare Services (OMS) is initiating the planning process to replace its current Medicaid claims management system known as MeCMS. OMS has been authorized 12 limited period CHP II's to support the planning and procurement of the new system. These positions are effective immediately through June of 2009. Each of the 12 limited period Comprehensive Health Planner II's will support the planning and procurement of a new Medicaid claims management system by acting as a business expert in a specific OMS/MaineCare/Medicaid subject area. The primary duties of these positions will be to identify and develop essential business requirements that provide the foundation for the procurement and implementation of the new system -or- to backfill behind OMS staff that have been reassigned to perform these duties. Qualifications: an eight (8) year combination of education, training, and/or professional experience in (1) healthcare administration, (2) healthcare insurance plan/benefit administration or (3) as a provider of healthcare services. Management Analyst II, (039300), Augusta: The Office of MaineCare Services (OMS) is initiating the planning process to replace its current Medicaid claims management system known as MeCMS. OMS has been authorized two limited period Management Analyst II's to support the planning and procurement of the new system. These positions are effective immediately through June of 2009. One position will support a broad range of research projects on health-related issues in order to identify critical information for new system requirements. The 2nd position will plan and coordinate OMS work and organizational studies, analyze and document OMS work processes and perform a broad range of project management support duties. Qualifications: a Bachelors Degree from an accredited educational institution in Public or Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field and four (4) years of experience in management analysis and/or methods and systems work. Comparable work experience may be substituted for education requirements on a year-for-year basis. Supplemental information is required. This classification is continuously open to recruitment, however; to be considered for these vacancies your application must be received by 7/13/07. $35,214.40 - $47,964.80/yr.
