UnitedHealthcare, a UnitedHealth Group (NYSE:UNH) company, is launching a suite of health plan products in Western Pennsylvania called Intelli-SeriesSM that offer affordable and flexible health care coverage options with varying premiums and co-payments aligned with access to all West Penn Allegheny Health System (WPAHS) facilities and select other regional hospitals.
The Intelli-Series suite of products is available Sept. 1 to consumers and employers in nine Western Pennsylvania counties – Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Greene, Lawrence, Washington and Westmoreland. Intelli-Series offers a range of traditional and consumer-driven health plans – including HSAs and HRAs – that feature wellness and preventive-care services such as mammograms, childhood immunizations, colon cancer screenings and others at no additional charge.
Consumers realize greater health care costs savings in all Intelli-Series products by accessing any WPAHS facilities, including its two flagship hospitals, Allegheny General Hospital and The Western Pennsylvania Hospital, and other select hospitals in UnitedHealthcare’s provider network in western Pennsylvania.
